Fourty Eight

Report: Barton Bridge, The walkways below the M60 Circular...

This one was recce'd by Havoc and TheNewMendoza prior to the explore. Scott Kindly invited me along, and with his good SRT skills, all four of us made it up to the walkways undernearth this huge 2.5km stretch of bridge on the M60. The bridge runs over the Manchester Ship Canal.

The Barton Bridge opened around 40 years ago, and was one of the first sections of the M60 built. The M60 was only fully completed as a full loop motorway back in 2000. So yeah, its had a right bit of fucking pasty over the years. Anyway, heres the fuckin photos:
