REPORT: Went to Ed's today since scott needed someone to weld some shit. perfect photo opp haha:




Tripped next to Barnes Hospital.

walked through this old Chemical refinery which they're tearing down,


Then we arrived at Barnes Hospital, Magnificent building, its a real shame the gypsies ruined a lot of this, especially the lead roofing, and the hands of the clock in the tower...

Getting in wasnt a problem, a short check of the perimeter showed us where the few security cabins were. conveniently a few forced entrances had already been made, so it wasnt hard entering at all.

anyway, here's the shots:



These shots were taken after a climb up the clock tower, which involved climbing a ladder on its last legs, then avoiding bird shit, then climbing up a dodgy wooden ladder, then more bird shit..and then a climb up a vent which was used as a ladder,and then you finally reach the even more birdshit encrusted clock tower.

Now theres more to climb if you want but i was busy playing with my camera. Another two or so stories up we found scott dangling from the woodwork face to face with nested pigeons. theres a small hole at the top of this which supposedly you can get through, scott managed it no problem!

High room for failure, stepping incorrectly would result in ending up a storey below or three/four stories to ground level...


You can just tell how once these rooms looked pretty magnificent, most of the plaster was removed by the owner for renovation, but then the gypsies have just ruined it a lot more.





In the left of this photo it shows the clocktower, looks quite small but its actually quite big.
